Elden Ring on PlayStation 1? Technically an impossibility. Nevertheless, the YouTuber Hoolopee illustrated in a video what the open-world game would have looked like on the old console. The result makes you really nostalgic!

The new Demake teaser too Elden ring by YouTuber hoolopee hits the nerve between epic and nostalgia: It’s pixelated, but still somehow beautiful and anyone who plays Elden Ring should be able to particularly enjoy this teaser. Check out the fictional PS1 remake of the game:

What makes demakes like the PS1 version of Elden Ring so special

Why are there videos like this that take games back in decades? Maybe because the similarities between the two versions – blockbuster and demake trailers – surprise us despite the completely new design. But maybe also because we feel nostalgic about old times or are simply curious about what such an AAA blockbuster would look like after a journey through time.

A particularly good example is the Demakes from the Game of Thrones openinglike a VHS demake by YouTuber Sam Greenwhich is reminiscent of the 80s and 90s and therefore has a kind of Xena vibe:

You all know it, the intro music from Game of Thrones, which is also bent here on a VHS level and makes you all the more nostalgic. So, whether it’s a game or a series, and whether you’re new to the medium or not, demakes get you at best good mood. Something that you can use again and again.
