1. Don’t Look Up
A lot will be added to Netflix in December, but above all it is a movie month. We are most looking forward to the movie Don’t Look Up. Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence play two scientists who try to warn the world of a coming comet that will destroy the Earth. That is not enough. The cast also stars Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchett and Ariana Grande.

2. The Power of the Dog
Benedict Cumberbatch and Kirsten Dunst can be found in the western The Power of the Dog. Cumberbatch plays a rancher who is unhappy that his brother comes home with a woman who already has a son. Especially since that son isn’t very manly.

3. The Witcher (season 2)
Henry Cavill steps back into the tight leather pants of strong monster hunter Geralt of Rivia for the second season of The Witcher. This fantasy series is based on the popular books that games are also made of. Now that Geralt is with Princess Cirilla, he must protect her. Not only from the dangers from outside, but also from the strength she has within.

4. Lost in Space (season 3)
Unfortunately, the fun adventure series Lost in Space ends with this third season. This series revolves around the Robinson family and a robot, who experience one adventure after another in space. The children now have to secure 97 young settlers, while the parents want to reach their children.

5. The Unforgivable
As if it wasn’t enough with all those top actors, you will also see Sandra Bullock in a special role in December. The actress usually chooses cheerful roles, but in The Unforgivable she plays a woman who has spent 20 years in prison for a violent crime.

Mahershala Ali plays Cameron in this film, a father who is declared terminally ill. He is presented with a solution. A copy of him is sent to his family. This copy looks like him and has all his memories, yet Cameron must leave this new man with his family while he quietly disappears himself. Does he or not?
Disney Plus December 2021
On Disney Plus you can watch a new episode of Hawkeye every week in December. In addition, the new film Encanto will appear in theaters on the streaming service after just one month.
