Do you already have a smart thermostat or do you want to buy one?
Thanks to a good smart thermostat, you can save on your energy bill. The device takes into account your habits, the weather forecast and any open windows to help you save. Do you already have one in your home, or are you considering buying one? Cast your vote in the poll.
Smart thermostats
These are times when we all pay for energy in the blue, and then people automatically look for ways to reduce the price on the bills. There are of course logical solutions such as setting the heating a few degrees lower, or insulating your house better. On the other hand, there are also smart thermostats that help you reduce your consumption without reducing comfort.
For example, the Tado V3+ thermostat detects when a window in the house is open, allowing heat to escape. In a notification you will see a warning so that you can close the window immediately. There is also the geofencing function. When you drive home from work, your thermostat can track your location so that the heating can turn on in time. On the other hand, it also automatically starts heating less when warm weather is forecast.
Androidworld recently wrote about the best smart thermostats you can buy right now. In addition to the Tado V3+, the Nest Learning Thermostat from Google is also a good choice. It shares regular energy reports in which you can see your consumption and the energy saved. You also have cheaper thermostats that work like a smart radiator head
