The first thing to do when you notice the search is not working is to head over to DownDetector and make sure the servers are up and running. Usually, when an issue like this pops up, it is something on the Discord’s side and you will have to wait until it is resolved.
Other things you can try:
- Close the Discord app and launch it again because the issue you are experiencing could be just a bug that will be resolved this way
- Restart your computer or smartphone
- Make sure your internet connection is good – you may restart your router as well
