Discord now runs natively on Apple Silicon (Mx) processors
Users of Discord will no longer need to go through Rosetta 2 to use the software with their Mac “Apple Silicon”. After a beta phase of a few months, Discord now runs natively under the M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max and M1 Ultra processors, and of course, the first feedbacks report significantly improved performance, not to mention the autonomy gains for MacBook Air and MacBook Pro under M1 chip.
Discord having become THE multi-domain messaging platform on Mac, compatibility with M1 Macs had become more than necessary, especially as Apple entered the second and final year of its complete switch to Apple Silicon chips (we only waiting for the Mac Pro in fact). The latest universal version software (which weighs only 368 MB) is currently being deployed. A little patience then…
