Diablo Immortal: You need to know about this free game

Besides the excellent free game League of Legends Wild Rift, we are already hearing a lot more about the free ones roleplaying game (rpg) Diablo Immortal. Two years ago, Blizzard announced that the popular PC series is now also coming to smartphones, and an alpha build is now ready.

The story of Diablo Immortal takes place between the events of the PC games Diablo II and Diablo III. Humanity is threatened by monstrous creatures and demons, and it is up to your character to restore world peace. You can choose from six different characters for your character classes each of which has its own powers. You have the Barbarian, Monk, Wizard, Demon Hunter, Crusader and Necromancer.

Skills, weapons and online

The main focus of the game is to continuously improve your weapons and armor and optimize your fighting style by unlocking new powers. Each class has four skills, but you can unlock a total of 12. Then there is also the ultimate ability, or an extra powerful attack that you can use every now and then. The game also uses controls and an interface specially optimized for touchscreens.

Still, Immortal is more than a regular RPG, because according to Blizzard the title also has an important online aspect. You can go on a mission with your friends and be there guilds and common areas where you can meet other players.

Revenue model

The game is free, but there is also a paid subscription plan that allows you to get extra rewards from missions. The game contains in-app purchases, but according to Blizzard, they don’t operate on an unfair pay-to-win system like other free mobile games.

For now, the Alpha version of Diablo Immortal is only playable by gamers from Australia and there is no specific release date yet.
