Detective The Lawyer allows us to falsify evidence -apkrig

If you like games like Sherlock Holmes, LA Noire, Phoenix Wright or Heavy Rain, you may be interested in the new episodic series The Lawyer from the Polish team ManyDev Studio. The authors promise to combine a classic detective story with a court drama and take us to 1992. Interestingly, we can not only look for clues and evidence, but also falsify it in an attempt to win our own case. It is up to you how you achieve your goals and whether you use all available means, regardless of their price.

The authors promise exciting stories set in the early 1990s, when instead of mobile phones they beeped to important people at the pager’s belt.

The first episode will be subtitled The Red Bathtub and, as its name suggests, will begin with the finding of a dead woman in the bathtub. It is interesting that The Lawyer, despite its name, does not have one main character, but two heroes. The first is attorney Mark Ferry and the second is private detective Hector Diaz. Mark Ferry has had enough of his problems. According to the authors, he has just left rehab to start a new life and a new career. He will have to work hard to regain his former reputation. Hector Diaz works for Mark as a private eye to help him investigate.

The authors promise exciting stories set in the early 1990s, when instead of mobile phones they beeped to important people at the pager’s belt. Of course, decisions that affect not only the current case, but also events in subsequent episodes, have a crucial role to play. Probably just because of our honesty. Each case will be solved in different ways and each episode will come up with a new one. As you will certainly understand from the description, the cases will have two parts – investigative and judicial. It will first be necessary to learn about the events, gather evidence, hear witnesses and cooperate with the police.

We will visit the crime scene, prepare for the trial with the client and compile our defense. Here it will be possible to switch between the two heroes, each with his own strengths and suitable for different situations. In court, we must then use everything we have found out before, hear the testimony, or try to challenge it. Prosecutors will fight against us before the judge, and the developers say that the outcome of the process depends solely on our decisions and performance.

ManyDev Studio is a Polish team based in Warsaw. The adventure series is aimed at the PC, but it does not have a release date yet. Although it looks a bit rough at times so far, in terms of gameplay it could be a potentially interesting piece.
