Deathloop – Apkrig
We could argue for a long time what the “next-genicity” of the new generation of consoles is. Higher performance is nice, but for only a few will probably be a wow effect that will impress the first good.
Sony is trying this moment when you really fall in love with the PlayStation 5, in addition to the absence of loading, also with its driver. DualShock has become DualSense, and thanks to it, you should immerse yourself even more in gaming.
In Deathloop, for example, your trigger may get stuck in the middle of a shootout so that you won’t be able to fire – the jammed pistol should indicate to you that it’s time to look around for a new weapon. You will find out the jam immediately, emotionally, you don’t have to wait for the graphical interface to let you know.
As this year’s Call of Duty has already demonstrated, with DualSense and its adaptive triggers, each weapon can fire a little differently. You can feel resistance and kickback.
Thanks to the haptic response, the controller shakes with each of your movements in your hands and you will know whether you are walking on gravel or parquet. It also depends on the type of movement, whether you are running, climbing, sliding on the roof, sneaking or teleporting.
An inconspicuous beep on the loudspeaker means that you are close to the mine and you have to be careful where you step, but through it, your rival Julianna also pulls you out. A click of the desert empty will alert you that ammunition has run out. Personally, in the case of the PS4, the sounds from the driver rather bothered me (hello scanner from Horizon Zero Dawn), but according to the creators of Deathloop, they contribute to making your gaming experience complete. You can always turn them off, right.
Deathloop will be released on May 21, 2021 for PlayStation 5 and PC.
