Daughter Mascha Feoktistova has RS virus: ‘All very intense’

It was quite a shock for YouTuber and entrepreneur Mascha Feoktistova: her daughter Mila (1) has the RS virus. She gives an update on her health on Instagram.

“We went to the hospital twice yesterday with our daughter, who has been ill for a few days,” Mascha writes Instagram Stories.

After a first visit to the hospital – Mila was then breathing rapidly and was deteriorating – they were told to ‘have a good rest’. A few hours later, the girl deteriorated rapidly and developed a high fever. “Back to the hospital – extremely high heart rate, breathing very fast (was 25 per minute that morning and now 26 per half minute),” Mascha continues. After examination, Mila turns out to have the RS virus, a cold virus.

Mila has now returned home, but it was quite intense. “On the verge of tube feeding. All really intense. And especially so terribly sad for her,” writes Mascha. In consultation with the doctor, her daughter – with medication and the doctor speed dial– sick at home. “Violent night. But it will be fine,” said the YouTuber. Finally, she advises mothers to always listen to their feelings. “When in doubt, always follow your instincts and call the doctor again.”
