Current: Beware of this dangerous SMS message

Profile The Police of the Slovak Republic on the social network Facebook again warns against fraud. Slovaks receive a large number of fraudulent SMS messages. This time they are abusing the good name of VUB banka.

The message says that your bank account has been temporarily suspended and you need to log in using the attached link. Most likely, fraudsters want to lure you login details to your internet banking. If you click on such unknown links, they will redirect you to a fake page that will intercept the data and be seized by the fraudsters.

To access internet banking, always use the official websites of banks.
