Cult series celebrates comeback with marathon

Series lovers will get their money’s worth from tomorrow on Sat.1. The TV station is radically reorganizing its Saturday and is sending a cult series from the 70s on a continuous loop on the television.

Anyone who grew up in the 70s knows the Ingalls. In a total of 9 seasons, TV viewers followed the adventures of the US farming family. Almost half a century after the German first broadcast Sat.1 is bringing the cult series “Unsere Kleine Farm” back to the programme – with a marathon.

Sat.1 brings “Unsere Klein Farm” back to free TV

It starts on Saturday the December 10, 2022 at 5:45 in the morning. First the pilot film flickers across the screens and then it goes along 12 episodes in a continuous loop until 8 p.m. when the Sat.1 news take over. A week later, on December 17th, it continues with the Ingall family. But fans of the series don’t have to get up that early, because the second marathon with another 12 episodes starts at 7:40 a.m. (source: quota meter).

The series follows the lives of the Ingalls – one godly farming family in late 19th century USA. It is loosely based on the events in Laura Ingall’s journals, but differs in a few points from the books.

It is not known whether Sat.1 will show all 9 seasons on the following Saturdays. With 204 episodes in total the broadcaster would have enough material to fill the coming weeks with programming. If you don’t want to wait for Sat.1, you can also buy the complete series as a Blu-Ray set from Amazon (view on Amazon).

Remodeling work the night before

In any case, there is currently a lot going on at Sat.1. After only four weeks, the private broadcaster overturned its previous evening due to a lack of viewers. The program “My husband can” will be broadcast again on December 5th at 7 p.m. An hour earlier, private detective Ingo Lenßen can be seen with “Lenßen takes over”.
