Crusader Kings III will arrive at the console in late March -apkrig

Paradox developers announced last August that their highly successful Crusader Kings III strategy would arrive. soon on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. However, the console version did not appear until the end of the year, and only yesterday we finally found out the deadline – March 29, 2022. We will have to wait another two months, and according to the first impressions of selected magazines, there is really something to it. The developers allegedly managed to process all the menus in a satisfactory way, and no matter how much the game relies on various windows and tables, we can look forward to a full-fledged computer-like experience. It should be added, however, that not everything is the work of Paradox, the authors of the original PC version, because they worked with the Lab42 studio on the port and most of the credit should go in this direction.

Given the game’s appearance on computers, it was clear in advance that the game’s interface would not be usable on consoles as it is. The people from Lab42 have therefore redesigned all the menus so that they can be conveniently controlled on the controller, and for example, according to the impressions of the editors of The Gamer magazine, you will use all the buttons and levers to the maximum. The d-pad is used to select specific items in most menus, the shoulder buttons call up radial menus in which you move with the analog levers, or you get to other levels according to individual circuits and controls. Of course, there are, of course, the remaining buttons for confirming or canceling your requests or calling up other necessary tabs for the administration of your dynasty. Most importantly, everything is supposed to work very well and not limit the player in what he would like to do with his ruler at the moment.

However, the console version was not only changed at the control level, the help and pop-up tips were also redesigned, what each element actually does, what affects it, or what it affects itself. In addition, there are shortcuts on the screen for tasks that need to be solved immediately, which again speeds up and makes the whole game easier, regardless of the genre and complexity of processing the whole game. However, there are also minor changes, such as the stress indicator, which is shown on the PC only by a gradually filling line, while on the console, the background of the entire portrait of the character is colored red. And what’s funny, if the ruler is really under pressure, calling up the menu by pressing the L2 / R2 button on the DualSense controller will stiffer thanks to the functions of adaptive triggers.

The last interesting information revolves around the possibility of concluding same-sex bonds in the game. Although this feature was made available in the PC version for some time through modifications, the developers banned it due to the effects on artificial intelligence and simple breaking games. Last year, however, they stated that this was a temporary ban until the game logic could be adequately adjusted so that those same-sex concubinates could emerge. And that moment will come with an update to version 1.5 – which should be reflected later in the console version. Players will therefore be able to allow or deny this type of bundles before the start of the game and thus affect the entire course. “We are very happy that we managed to get it into the game,” say the developers, once again confirming that even those who do not use any modifications will have access to this feature. “It’s something that many team and community members have wanted, so we’re glad it will finally appear in version 1.5,” Paradox said, leaving the field open for discussion.

But before you embark on any passions, it’s worth explaining that people of the same sex can already have a romantic relationship in the game and the update will address just their stronger bond. At the same time, it should also be noted that the previous part of the Crusader Kings allowed, for example, marriage to a horse, so this is nothing that would irritate the community in any way and it is more of many options you can actually do in CK III.
