The Dark Web is what you might call hell’s paradise ! It is the great fair for anything offered yet with quality close to the official market. Do you want to hack a Gmail account? It will cost you $ 80. Want to laugh a little while making yourself a Texan citizen card? It’s possible for $ 145. Even more disturbing, a French passport can be issued to you for $ 4,000. Whether credit cards, Paypal account and others, the list of “products” offered is as long as it is frightening. At a time when the Covid-19 epidemic still makes the housewife tremble and imposes ever more questionable restrictions and obligations, this fake business has a bright future ahead of it.

False papers for real virus?

After more than a year of a croquignolesque fight against the “pandemic”, Covid-19 still claims victims around the world despite the acceleration of vaccination, including in countries which have jumped in there like a lost needle. And in France this week, they are more than 19,000 people who have tested “positive” daily. An epidemic of testing would say evil spirits.

Europe has gradually reopened its borders to exchanges between citizens of different countries, however with strict conditions to allow travel. So that a Frenchman can, for example, return to Dutch soil by plane, he will have to present a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours. And if this is positive, what to do? Two solutions: wait or divert the problem by going hunting on the Dark Web.

This place, the illegal counterpart of the web that most of us know, is the realm of the undercoat. And if it’s easy to get your hands on guns and drugs, hackers are adapting today and offer, for example, false negative PCR tests for an unbeatable price: 20 € ! Same story for the vaccine certificates. You put together a doctor’s signature, your name and the dates you want to appear, and there you are in possession of a beautiful document larger than life for 170 euros. Travel around the world to you! Even if you are positive!

Who wants my vaccine?

If this emergence of false documents related to tests and vaccination is already indicative of a deep problem, another question sows even more confusion on the matter. The Dark Web indeed offers also over-the-counter vaccines ! And this market is booming since announcements for this product have tripled since the start of the year. The illicit supply brings all the different vaccines to the black market. You can therefore find doses of AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, as well as Russian and Chinese vaccines Sputnik and SINOPHARM. The prices are between $ 500 and $ 1,000.

This illegal traffic therefore shows that there is thefts of vaccine doses all over the world, doses which could nevertheless have been used to vaccinate frightened honest citizens in centers… and if we are to believe the doxa to advance collective immunity more quickly. Earlier this year, Europol, the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Law Enforcement, had already pointed the finger at the problem after the dismantling of an illicit network.
