Cool feature for WhatsApp on the go: message responses with emoji

A new clue has been found for a cool new function that we will soon encounter in WhatsApp. It concerns message responses, through an emoji. We have already seen the function on other social networks and now it seems to have also found its way to WhatsApp.

Message responses in WhatsApp

Message Responses is a new feature that will soon be added to WhatsApp messaging service. WABetainfo mentions this new feature that is being tested behind the scenes by the developers. With the new function it should be possible to respond to a message, without having to use the keyboard. The function will probably be comparable to Facebook (Messenger); where you can like a comment or message, but to which you can also link another emotion. Think great, sad, or funny.

For now, the functionality is not yet usable. The finders of the new function have shared a screenshot, which makes it clear that the function is already being tested. When the feature is available, users (both sender and recipient) will need to update to the latest version for the feature.

It is not known when WhatsApp will add the new functionality to the messaging app. It is also still unknown which emojis we can use with WhatsApp. It was also announced last week that the chat bubbles and status bar in WhatsApp will get different colors.
