Constantine: Keanu Reeves back for a second film!
Keanu Reeves is a regular in cult roles; after Neo in Matrix and John Wick in the eponymous films, the canadian actor will take on the costume of John Constantine, an exorcist demonologist who fights demons like in a Tarantino film (in short, it’s both epic and badass). Warner Bros. felt the DC character was iconic enough to warrant producing a sequel. And according to information from Deadline, Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend, The Hunger Games) would be responsible for directing the footage.

The script for this sequel will be written by Akiva Goldsman while JJ Abrams and Hannah Minghella of Bad Robot will handle production, supported by executive producers Lorenzo DiBonaventura and Erwin Stoff. As a reminder, Constantine was released in theaters 17 years ago and had recorded 200 million dollars in worldwide receipts despite a mixed critical reception.
