Conchita’s way to ESC 2014

The drag queen gained national fame a few years before participating in the ESC. In 2007, Thomas took second place on the ORF casting show “Starmania”, four years later as Conchita Wurst on the Austrian show “The Great Chance”. All of Austria now knows the drag queen Conchita Wurst. Wurst tried his hand at the Austrian preliminary round for the ESC in 2012, but was not able to convince. However, her performance is not unsuccessful. In the September 2013 it is announced that she will represent Austria, and that without a preliminary decision or the announcement of the song.
