Xiaomi has announced its new fitness tracker in the popular Mi Band series. The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is again provided with an interesting price and has a number of advantages compared to its predecessor(s).

Xiaomi has presented a new fitness tracker; The Xiaomi Mi Band 7. This is what the company did in its home country of China, where the watch will also be the first to go on sale. The nicest improvement is the larger always-on display that can always be shown. You can now choose from 100 dials, all of which should consume little energy and can often be personalized. So the screen is bigger. This is now a 1.62 inch AMOLED screen, while the previous model, the Mi Band 6, was a 1.56 inch panel.

With the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 you can use 120 sports modes, so you can use the watch for any sport. Swimming is no problem either, as the watch is water resistant to a depth of 50 meters. You can see your performance on the screen at the end of your workout, but you can also see it in the app.

The fitness tracker still has the same design as its predecessors; the elongated tracker itself and a silicone strap in different colors; blue, black, white, pink, green and orange. There is an SPO2 meter for measuring your blood oxygen. When the value falls below a certain percentage, you will be notified by means of a vibration. We also see a 180 mAh battery, which is 55 mAh more than before. According to Xiaomi, the battery life is a maximum of 15 days, or 9 days with intensive use.

For now, the watch has only been announced for China. There is certainly a chance that the Mi Band 7 will be released in Europe, but nothing is known about this yet. The watch costs 35.00 euros in China, excluding taxes and surcharges.
