Comeback of a big series hit in June
Those who subscribe to Netflix should remember this date. In June, one of the streaming provider’s best series returns to the TV screen. We had to wait four whole years for it.
The time has finally come and “Black Mirror” returns with a 6th season return to Netflix (watch on Netflix). Work on it was confirmed a year ago, at the end of April 2023 Netflix gave us a first look and announced the new season for June.
Netflix Announces the Date: Black Mirror Season 6 Premiere
Now it’s getting concrete, because Netflix shows even more in the longer trailer and also reveals the start date for the new season of “Black Mirror”. You can mark yourself in the calendar Thursday 15 June 2023.
In the trailer, Netflix also speaks of “Movies” instead of “episodes”. The individual, self-contained parts will be correspondingly long. As early as April, series creator Charlie Brooker promised new, previously unused series elements. Season 6 was therefore particularly different and challenging for Brooker and the team.

But how many episodes or “movies” of the 6th season will there actually be?
Episode overview now known
We are now finding out more about this as well, and we can look forward to it 5 episodes in total, whose title and rough contents are already known. In the overview:
- Joan Is Awful: In this episode, Netflix itself is targeted, curiously enough it’s called “Streamberry”.
- Hole Henry: Looking for a kidnapper.
- Beyond the Sea: Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul joins the astronauts.
- Mazey Day: Focus on paparazzi.
- Demon 79: The horror special of the new season.
Expectations are high, after all, “Black Mirror” with an IMDb rating of 8.8 points one of the best series of all time. Will the new season live up to that? We will find out from June 15th. An absolute must for existing fans and those who want to become one.
