Chromebooks are soon to get a feature that you’re sure to appreciate
Needless to say, Apple is at the forefront of the interconnectedness of its systems. But Google isn’t so bad either. If you have a Chromebook and an Android phone, your laptop can show you notifications, recent photos, or even your phone’s battery status.
Voice calling from your Chromebook? Supposedly reality soon
But Google is still preparing the best for us. According to the Chrome Unboxed server, it will soon be possible to make calls directly from a computer with Chrome OS. The code in which the connection is located has appeared in Chromium Gerrit “Enable incoming / incoming call notification feature” and other records suggest that it will not be just a notification, but you will actually be able to receive and make calls directly on your computer.
Theoretically, it could also be part of the upcoming program Eche, which will be a system tool to create a deep connection between Chromebooks and Google Pixel phones.
Would you use this feature?
