Check out Batman from the canceled sequel Arkham -apkrig

We have repeatedly written on the Vortex about various unrealized versions of the continuation of the Arkham series. Earlier, we received from unofficial sources several images that were supposed to come from these projects. Other alleged concepts of the disbanded Batman have now appeared on the Internet, uploaded to ArtStation by artist Goran Bukvic. But he writes only very briefly that he created them for an unnamed canceled game.

In 2015 and 2016, Goran Bukvic actually worked at the WB Games Montréal studio, which created Batman: Arkham Origins and was to work on another part. In the end, however, after a few somersaults, he was given the green title of Gotham Knights. As a concept artist, Bukvic, according to a profile on LinkedIn, worked on character design for the unannounced AAA game, he writes in his CV.

The fresh pictures show Batman or his son. We see an aging gray-bearded Bruce and a son, Damian. The project, known as Sabbath, has presented several leaked artwork and unofficial details in the past, but so far we have not had the opportunity to see the bat man himself, only some villains and hints of the world itself.

Older pictures are also worth noting. There was talk that we would move through dilapidated Gotham, meet famous villains such as Two Face, Penguin or Black Mask, but in a female version. In addition to Bruce, his former partner Dick Grayson would return to the scene. And the game could use the patented Nemesis system from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor by Monolith Productions, which also belongs to Warner Bros. In addition, it was not the only canceled project from WB Games Montréal. Even before Batman, the developers allegedly tried to put together their own version of Suicide Squad before the task fell to the British Rocksteady. You can find more details about these unrealized games and their vicissitudes in our older articles that preceded the revelation of the Gotham Knights.

The Arkham Knight of 2015 will eventually be followed by the story of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League by Rocksteady and not Gotham Knights, although the metropolis itself could be tempted to do so. And maybe we’ll find out what’s next with Batman.
