In this new Express Tutorialwe explain to you in less than 4 minutes how to save money on your fill up with Waze. The famous community application which allows you to be warned in the event of speed cameras, road checks, works or traffic jams is also your wallet’s friend. It is indeed possible to make detours during a trip by making for example a stop at a gas station. Only then, the search for fuel is done “as close as possible” by default. But it is possible to select a preference by price. It is of course the other users who provide these rates. It’s up to you to see if the detour is worth the few cents saved per litre. You will also have to pay attention to the date of the price update. If the latter was changed 2 days ago, there is little chance that there has been a change, whereas if the update dates from 1 month ago… You can also participate in informing the prices of the gas stations that you will come across on your journey, but you will have to acquire a special “rank”, that of Waze “Adult”.
