Cheaper and better than the AirPods Pro? New headphones should conquer the market
When you think of wireless in-ear headphones, the AirPods Pro from Apple are primarily in mind. The OnePlus founder wants to change that and has revealed for the first time how this should be done. First and foremost about the price, of course, but the rest should also be right.
Nothing Ear (1): AirPods Pro alternative for 99 euros
OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei left the smartphone company some time ago and founded his own company with “Nothing”. He now uses headphones and announced today in a press release that the Nothing Ear (1), the name of the headphones, will be sold in Germany for 99 euros. The highlight of the story, however, is that the headphones don’t compete with the normal AirPods from Apple, but rather compete against the AirPods Pro through ANC.
In fact, Nothing wants to catch up with the ear (1) directly to the tip of the headphones and show what the new company can do. There are of course very cheap ANC headphones from China, you just have to take a look at Amazon. How good the active noise cancellation and the sound are is crucial. And here Nothing does it just like OnePlus did. You want Share bits and pieces of information with usto build up the hype properly. The headphones will be officially presented on July 27, 2021. By then, at the latest, it will be seen whether the headphones are really useful.

Nothing bought company from Android founder
Carl Pei actually wanted to call his new company “Essential”, but the name was already taken. Android founder Andy Rubin had already secured the name for his company and brought a cell phone onto the market. But Nothing bought parts of Essential and adopted the name for itself. So headphones should only be the beginning of what Nothing brings to market. We can be curious what else to expect.
