Nokia C1 Plus: Upcoming model with Android Go for the undemanding
11/7/2020
At the end of last year, HMD introduced the low-cost Nokia C1 smartphone. The smartphone impressed especially with its price, dimensions and practicality. Now, a year after its introduction, it is the turn of its successor, the Nokia C1 Plus.
The Nokia C1 Plus also comes with 4G network support
According to information on the nokiapoweruser.com portal, this smartphone should also be launched with support for 4G networks. Unfortunately, last year’s Nokia C1 only supported 3G networks. There will be a 5.45-inch HD + display on the front. It is also clear that the back of the smartphone will be plastic. Nokia will launch this smartphone in two colors, red and blue.
The C1 Plus model has almost identical dimensions to its predecessor. More specifically, these are the values 149.1 mm x 71.2 mm x 8.75 mm. The performance will be taken care of by an eight-core processor with a frequency of 1.4 GHz and 1 GB of operating memory. The storage will be 16 GB in size and will also offer the possibility of expansion thanks to the support of microSD cards up to a capacity of 64 GB.
The power supply will be taken care of by a 2500 mAh battery. There will be a 5 megapixel camera on the back as well as on the front. In the case of this smartphone, a light version of the Android version in the Go version is a matter of course.
Unfortunately, the question of the availability of this smartphone will remain unanswered for the moment. The predecessor of this model, with a price below 100 Euros, was intended only for developing markets. In the case of the C1 Plus model, we do not yet know whether it will be available elsewhere than in developing countries. Unfortunately, the exact date of his performance is also unknown. According to nokiapoweruser.com, this smartphone could be introduced with the Nokia 7.3 and Nokia 9.3 PureView sometime in November.
