CES 2023: Invoxia unveils a smart collar for dogs compatible with iOS
A few hours before the opening of CES 2023, the manufacturer Invoxia unveils one of the products it will present at the show, the Smart Dog Collar (literally “The smart dog collar”). Pet collars with sensors and iOS compatibility are not new in themselves, but this one is able to detect the heart rate of the animal via the proprietary technology called Heartprint based on sensory sensors and accelerometers. The master of the canine can thus visualize on his iPhone a 2D representation of the cardio-pulmonary system of his doggie. Other information is displayed, such as the general state of stress, pain, tone, even the risk of heart disease (arrhythmia for example), data synthesized using an AI of the type machine learning.
More conventional this time, this smart collar can also geolocate the dog. An alert may appear on the iPhone if the animal exceeds a given perimeter or has been in the same area for a certain time. The Smart Dog Collar will be available for sale in Q3 2023 for $149. The user will also have to subscribe to a subscription of 8.25 dollars/month.
