Buying a sunshade for the car: here’s what you pay attention to
Perhaps as a child you had a sunscreen with a cheerful print hanging next to you, but it fell to the floor every time. Or your parents squeezed a towel between the window on the way to France to protect you from the sun.

Today there are very good quality awnings on the market and the choice is huge: with or without suction cups, rollable, foldable or a screen that is self-adhesive. They have one thing in common: if the sun no longer shines or your child just wants to be able to look outside for a while, you can remove the sunscreen in no time.
If you are planning to purchase one for this summer, read these great tips first:
Measure
First measure the size of your windows. Most awnings are not too big: 35 to 40 centimeters wide. These will undoubtedly fit on your window, but if you have a somewhat larger family car, there is a good chance that your windows are also a bit wider. And then the sun shines cheerfully through the sides.
There are special, stretchable awnings of no less than 50 centimeters wide for extra wide windows. Thanks to the stretchy material, you can spread it very conveniently over the entire width of the window: away from the sun.

Color or print
At one point, the number of caravans and red cars was counted through the front window. With an awning with a nice print, for example with animals or Disney characters, your child still has something nice to see from his car seat. Prefer a plain model? Of course they are still there.
Multifunctional
Did you know that there is a sunscreen that you can use in the car as well as in other places? For example, on the pram, carrycot or playpen. Handy to delve into if your buggy does not have a (large) sun canopy, for example.
We have already put together a nice list for you of the finest car sunscreens of the moment.
