Bug in Google Clock app prevents alarm clock from going off
If you overslept this week because the alarm didn’t go off, you may just be affected by the bug in the Google Clock app. The alarm did not go off for a large group of users.

The Google Clock app is used by many Android owners to set their alarm clock. However, many users report a bug, as a result of which the alarm does not go off at all. This was the case with a group of users in the past week, with the result that people were late to go to work, school or an appointment. If that also happens to you, then you are certainly not alone. In the Google Play Store, the application is flooded with negative reviews.
Some users report a connection between Do Not Disturb mode and missed alarms, others report problems with the Spotify integration. Solutions to this do not always solve the problem. The error has now also been reported to Google in the IssueTracker. Now we have to wait for Google to solve the problem.
Not every user has problems with the Google Clock app, but if you don’t want to be late for work, it may be advisable to set a different alarm clock; or download an additional alarm clock app from the Google Play Store. There are plenty of options here, such as the Simple Clock app.
