British government gets “preferential access” to AI models from OpenAI and Co.

The British government recently announced that it would host the first international summit on artificial intelligence this year. Now, OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and Anthropic want to give the country “early or preferential access” to their AI models — and with good reason.
