Bridget Maasland makes shocking revelation from her childhood

She is, in her own words, “scarred for life”.

‘It made no sense to resist’

In the black-and-white photo of herself as a young girl, Bridget describes how the teacher at her primary school in Hoorn, somewhere in the 80s, regularly took her on her lap and gave her “a wet kiss” when she had made up for something. She was also sometimes asked to lie on the floor in a circle so that the teacher could “roll over her muscles” with his knees. His genitals came close to her face several times. “It was useless to resist this unwieldy body while he had me in the woods,” Maasland writes.

Confrontation

After she told her parents about these events, they took her out of the school. Bridget’s mother then organized an evening with other parents to confront the teacher in question, but nothing came of it, according to the presenter. “At the meeting in question, my parents were on their own. Other parents did not dare to face the confrontation and so the teacher was not even suspended and he could just continue with his ‘transgressive behavior’ with children,” she writes.

Model world

At the age of fourteen, she again had to deal with transgressive behavior. This time by a higher-ranking man in the modeling world Bridget was working in at the time. He entered her bedroom and began to caress her. “I pretended to be asleep, which made him happy to stop. Only now do I understand how this scarred me for life!”
