The range is one of the top criteria when buying an electric car. As a rule, the manufacturers try to outdo each other in an attempt to always achieve new maximum values. But BMW is now rejecting the game – at least in one respect.

However, this does not yet mean a definitive commitment to the electric drive. BMW remains committed to keeping alternatives open for the future. Together with Toyota they want to advance the development of the hydrogen cell. 2025 is also an important year for BMW with these e-car plans.

It remains exciting to see what Bayern are up to in other segments given the plans for top models. There, for example, the strong charging capacity could compensate for a lower total capacity in rechargeable batteries for cheaper models.
