Popular American rapper Snoop Dogg previously revealed that he is building a villa in Sandbox. A piece of virtual land adjacent to this has been sold for quite a bit of money.

Snoop Dogg revealed in late September that he had acquired land in the blockchain-based virtual metaverse The Sandbox. He has plans to recreate his mansion. On December 2, The Sandbox held a “Snoopverse Land Sale”. Participants can use this to buy land adjacent to the virtual estate of the famous hip-hop star. Someone would love to be the rapper’s online neighbor and bought a plot of virtual land for $450K in Ethereum. That is almost four tons in euros.

Snoop has been a supporter of cryptocurrency for quite some time now. He previously revealed that he was a non-fungible token (NFT) whale. With the name “Cozomo de’ Medici”. The Sandbox team notes that in order to cash in on the estate next to Snoop’s, the winner of the auction must first write to The Sandbox.
