Bitwarden introduces passkeys on its platform for easier login
Bitwarden joins the ‘passkey’ club: it introduces a new way of managing passwords on the platform, namely in the form of passkeys. This turns your device, for example your smartphone, into a kind of key to apps. The ‘lock’ is the biometric input, so the scan of your fingerprint or a scan of your face.

It recently introduced passwordless login on PC: If you use it, Bitwarden sends a message on your phone asking if you recognize the login attempt. You will then be presented with a few details such as the time of login, the IP address of the device and then a series of five words. These five words on your phone should be the same as the ones that appear in your browser. If everything is correct, you can then approve the login on your smartphone.
