Beware of these applications, they steal passwords from Facebook
Despite ever-improving controls, applications that are potentially dangerous often arrive in the Google Play store. We write about the painter in the popular application store regularly. Now there are other applications that you should rather uninstall quickly, informs drweb.
Malware analysis has discovered malicious applications that have stolen usernames and passwords from the Facebook social network. Alarming is a number that indicates the number of total installations of these dangerous applications. They have been installed almost 6 million times. Specifically, there are 10 applications, 9 of which also made it to Google Play.

As you can see in the table above, there were mostly different tools. Cleaners, applications for locking other applications, photo editing tools and horoscopes.
Drweb has alerted Google to this danger, which has removed the application from the store. If you have managed to install any of them, you should get rid of it as soon as possible. We also recommend that you change your Facebook password and enable two-factor authentication if you don’t already have one.
