Huawei: Android alternative HarmonyOS 3.0 is coming

Huawei is forced to stop using Android in China due to ongoing US sanctions. Instead, the in-house system HarmonyOS is now used. Now Huawei has announced a new version that is similar to Android excel in several areas target. The focus continues to be on the possibility of allowing several device types to communicate with one another.

Compared to its predecessor, Huawei says that HarmonyOS 3.0 is a noticeably longer battery life allows. On average, the new system would reduce power consumption by 11 percent. In addition, according to the manufacturer, there is a leap in performance, which should make itself felt with 14 percent faster response times. Huawei has redesigned the memory management for this purpose.

The Huawei P50 Pro is due to HarmonyOS 3.0 with an 18 percent higher frame rate when scrolling and with 7 percent shorter loading times to be expected with apps.
