Beta ‘Battlefield Mobile’ coming to Android devices
We’ve known for some time that Battlefield Mobile is coming. Now we know more about this.
A mobile version of the wildly popular game Battlefield is coming. That has been known since April of this year. The game is slated for release sometime in 2022. The publisher shared further details about the upcoming title this week.

Before the game is launched to the masses, the developer EA plans to start testing. This fall, the game will be available for beta testing of Battlefield Mobile with “a series of smaller playtests” involving players in Indonesia and the Philippines (and who own Android devices). “As we continue to test, we will expand the scope of these tests, [en] add new regions,” the company said on its community website. That’s good news, because they’re ready to test the game.

A single folder. The first beta test features just a single map called Grand Bazaar and the franchise’s signature Conquest game mode. EA promised to share more details about other maps and modes closer to Battlefield Mobile’s 2022 release date. The company also confirmed that the game is a free-to-play title that will contain “only” cosmetic items. Battlefield Mobile does not support crossplay between console or PC versions of the Battlefield franchise as it is “built specifically for mobile”.
Unfortunately, we can’t test with it here in Europe and we have to wait for the game to be officially launched.
