Pl@ntNet always comes in handy, whether you have a green thumb or not, it doesn’t matter. Based on a photo you can see the name and all relevant information about a plant species. The app works with object recognition and it compares your photos with all the plants in the database. All knowledge about the plants has been collected by the French ‘Tela Botanica’ organization, which is a collaboration of botanists. You can also help improve the quality of the database yourself by uploading your photos in the app.
