Because the players are too good, the game is getting tougher now
The players of the surprise hit Valheim seem to be real berserkers. The bosses have no chance against the part-time Vikings, but that changes with the latest patch.

The Viking survival game Valheim is going through the roof on Steam. Even in Early Access, the game is thrilling millions and driving Rust and GTA 5 from the top of the Steam charts. Patch 0.146.8 Not only does it fix some serious bugs, it also increases the difficulty of some boss fights.
“You kill them too quickly”
With these words, the developers justify their changes to some bosses. The bosses are an important part of Valheim because they give you rewards such as new recipes. But that was too easy for the developers, which is why three of the five bosses are a bit heavier now.
In concrete terms this means:
- Bone paunch: Shorter cooldown of melee attacks
- Moder: 2,500 additional life points
- Yagluth: Health points doubled and resistances adjusted

Further changes with patch 0.146.8
If you are on a dedicated server you should update it. The developers warn that otherwise you are threatened with a black screen. In addition, a Save file bug Fixed. Players who quit Valheim while logging out with ALT + F4 ran the risk of destroying their scores or corrupting the game world before the patch.
Against the Deathquitos you are now better prepared. The mosquitoes can now be discovered earlier, as their whirring can be heard from a greater distance and they can no longer surprise you so easily.
