The premise of Battle Legion is easy. Put two big armies against each other and watch who wins in the end. All this in nice color graphics and with great animations.
Not only are you watching the battles, but above all you are building armies. You can choose from a wide range of units. From infantry with shields, through archers, to giants or wizards. Each unit has its strengths and weaknesses, which you must balance properly. The greatest emphasis is placed on preparation, because during the battle you can no longer intervene in the fight.
However, you have a long way to go before you get to those diverse units. At first, you have to make do with a complete foundation. In addition, you must focus on improving units to succeed in battle. This is the purpose of traditional fragments, which you collect as a reward from open boxes. You can have up to three different armies at a time and will be pleased that in addition to aggressive units, you can build walls and rely on a defensive strategy.
To get into battle, you must spin the playing field as the squares in the slot machine rotate. The animation and processing of the game are perfect, but get ready for a really complicated monetization model. There are several types of game currency in the game and each is used for a different purpose. Collecting fragments depends on chance and at the same time needs money. Chests with rewards will be unlocked for hours, and from the second level onwards, the authors will bombard you with offers for amazingly advantageous packages of all kinds.
If you want to see nicely moving battles, Battle Legion will entertain you for a while. Its advantage is that it works automatically and you do not have to pay too much attention to it. This is also its weakness, because the outcome of the battle is often too random and dependent on the level of units. This increases slowly if you refuse to pay for the game regularly. If I were to recommend a strategy where you really play and whose free-to-play model does not resemble slot machines, I would not hesitate over Clash Royale.
