Modern cars are characterized not only by timeless design, but also modern equipment. You can expand the function of your car with the possibility of controlling the car via a smartphone. With your mobile phone you can not only change the settings of the vehicle, but you also have an overview of your rides and you will receive a lot of information in one place. So, this is the case if the application of the carmaker is really high quality. In this article, we will show very briefly the applications from several well-known car manufacturers.

Tesla

The Tesla application connects you to your electric car remotely. Direct communication with the car is guaranteed and you will be able to do some great things right away. From the comfort of your home, you can monitor the charging process in real time, or start or stop it. Before you leave, you can turn on the air conditioning or heating, so that comfort is ensured immediately after getting into the vehicle.

You can also unlock and lock Tesla using the app. The car’s location feature will be pleased, as will the pre-departure navigation settings. In case you don’t know where they parked in a small space, the function of turning on the lights and a short trumpet is suitable to speed up the search for a parked car. There are a lot of functions in Tesla applications, but we think we haven’t forgotten about the main ones.

Kia – Kia Connect

The newly named Kia Connect telematics system will improve the possibilities of connecting the vehicle as well as its operation by the user. It is worth mentioning, for example, real-time navigation, which can predict the current situation on the road. Of course, setting various functions remotely from a smartphone.

Škoda – MyŠKODA

The MyŠKODA apka is intended for owners of Škoda cars. In order to allow the easiest possible access to all useful features, the company decided to create this application. You can use it to determine the state of charge of the battery in an electric or hybrid vehicle. You can also find the car on the map, or make it easier to find it in the parking lot by turning on the lights and trumpets. The application will send you a notification in case of low oil and fluid level in the washer. For owners of vehicles with internal combustion engines, there is a function for monitoring the distance of the car with the current fuel level in the tank. It is possible to activate and deactivate heating, ventilation or air conditioning online. This and much more is offered by the MyŠKODA application.

Toyota – MyT by Toyota

With MyT, you can stay in touch with your Toyota no matter where you are. The MyT application gives you access to a number of online services to help you plan your journey more easily, check your vehicle’s latest rides or position, and get valuable information about your driving behavior. Note that the availability of Toyota Connected services in MyT may vary by model type.

Volkswagen – We Connect

We Connect offers faster and more intuitive access to a wealth of information about the vehicle and the condition of your vehicle. It can replace or prefer your phone as a key for unlocking and locking the door. In the apk you can turn on the heating or air conditioning remotely. Individual functions can also be programmed to be performed exactly according to your ideas. You can find your Volkswagen in the car park faster, thanks to the location function.

Ford – FordPass

FordPass ensures constant contact between you and your car. It simplifies vehicle ownership in an intelligent and intuitive way. From route optimization, through vehicle condition monitoring to sending alerts on the technical condition of the vehicle. You will find all this and even more in a handy application.

Nissan – NissanConnect Services

In the application, designed for Nissan passenger cars, you will find daily, monthly and also annual driving reports. You can use your smartphone to plan a trip and send the route directly to the in-vehicle navigation. Connect laptops, tablets or smartphones to the WiFi hotspot in the car more easily thanks to this app. Other functions include an assistant for locating a parked vehicle, the possibility of seeking help in the event of faults, setting the temperature in the car before driving, monitoring the state of charge of the electric car battery or starting its charging remotely.

Honda – My Honda +

My Honda + is an application representing Honda cars. It offers many conveniences as well as other car manufacturers. This means that there is no remote control of air conditioning or heating, the ability to unlock and lock the car, manage vehicle condition control, receive alerts via the virtual dashboard when doors or windows are open and much more. Among other things, it allows you to remotely control selected vehicle functions, control vehicle security or send destinations directly to in-vehicle navigation.

Hyundai – Hyundai Bluelink Europe

The winner of the iF Design Award 2021, Hyundai Bluelink Europe, takes the connection of a smartphone to a Hyundai to a higher level: The new Bluelink application further enhances your Hyundai driving experience with a completely new look and added features for the connected vehicle.

Find your Hyundai vehicle or use the map function to find a parking space, petrol stations, restaurants nearby or other places of interest. Then just send the destination to the navigation system in your car.

You can also use your phone as a remote control to lock or unlock your car. If you drive a Hyundai electric vehicle, the application allows you to control charging as well as cooling or heating.

Renault – My Renault

All you have to do is add your car to the My Renault app and you can start using it. In the application you will see an overview of your vehicle and facilitate your everyday driving experience. You will get an overview of the maintenance history. Enjoy the possibility of planning a trip, the availability of customer support and much more.

Mercedes – Mercedes me

The handy Mercedes me application is intended for owners of Mercedes cars. After installing it, you will always be informed about, for example, the mileage, mileage, current fuel status or data of your last ride. You can also check the tire pressure, the condition of the doors, windows, sliding or tilting roof and luggage compartment, as well as the current state of locking the car comfortably via the mobile application. In addition, you can locate your vehicle and be informed, for example, about unlocked vehicle doors via warning messages.

Peugeot – MYPE PEUGEOT APP

Thanks to MY PEUGEOT, you can have information about your vehicle right in your pocket. Find simple solutions to make your daily life easier on the go. In the app you will see data such as the date of the last drive, the position of the vehicle or a warning when technical intervention is required. It is possible to book an appointment online at the service.

BMW – My BMW

In the My BMW app, you have a brief overview of the vehicle’s condition. You can use several functions at once, such as planning your trips in the navigation. Follow the news from the world of BMW, use intelligent services and, if necessary, simply contact the service center. The application is characterized by regular updates and expansion of the range of functions.

Audi – myAudi

The myAudi application connects your Audi vehicle to everyday activities and, thanks to innovative functions and services, brings driving comfort to your life.

The fourth generation of myAudi is now even easier to use and provides increased comfort during daily use. The new version launches a continuous update process, which gradually brings revolutionary changes in the myAudi application regarding an intuitive way of user-oriented control.

The process of changes is triggered by the so-called vehicle control panel, which has been significantly simplified based on customer feedback and information on e.g. vehicle status are visually displayed in the form of cards. With the new quick access bar, the vehicle’s most important functions are now available with just one swipe of a finger.

Porsche – Porsche Connect

With the Porsche Connect app, you can enjoy all the benefits of your vehicle even in the digital world. You always have the necessary information or important settings at hand, right on your smartphone.

The application really offers a lot. For the first time, owners of supported vehicles now have the option of ordering individual functions after purchasing a vehicle directly via their smartphone. You don’t have to visit the store at all, you can do everything in a few clicks via the e-shop, even from the comfort of your home.

The possibilities of the Porsche Connect application will be further expanded. In the future, for example, Porsche is preparing the option of ordering via the My Porsche portal and for service.
