Asus shares Android 13 update schedule for Zenfone 9 and 8
Asus has released the update schedule for the update to Android 13. A total of 7 devices will receive the update to the latest Android version, including the Zenfone 9 and Zenfone 8.

Android 13 has recently been rolled out at various brands, where we have seen the necessary updates, especially at Samsung. Asus is also present. In a new message, the manufacturer shares the update plans for the various devices it has released. This concerns devices from its own Zenfone series, but also the company’s ROG phones, the devices that have been specially marketed for avid gamers.
For starters, the Asus Zenfone series. The Asus Zenfone 9, which we previously discussed in detail in the Asus Zenfone 9 review, will receive the update from December 2022. A month later, from January 2023, Asus will start rolling out the update to the latest Android version for the Asus Zenfone 8 series. In a first quarter of 2023, the rollout will begin for the Asus ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate, the 6 and 6 Pro. The update will be available for ROG Phone 5 and 5S series from Q2.
Asus will provide its own skin for the Android 13 update. It is not yet known what changes this entails.
