Apple would hold a keynote on March 8 for the iPhone SE 2022, the iPad Air 5 and a Mac

Apple would have chosen March 8 to hold its first keynote of 2022, according to Bloomberg. The site had already announced that a conference would take place in March or April, and now it wants to be more precise today.

An Apple keynote for March 8

This March 8 keynote would be an opportunity for Apple to present its iPhone SE 2022 and the iPad Air 5. The first is expected to have the same design as the current model, but with the A15 chip (the same as we found with the iPhone 13) and 5G support. For the iPad Air 5, the design would remain unchanged from the existing model. The new tablet would be entitled to the A15 chip and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle front photo sensor with support for the Centered Frame system. In addition, we would be entitled to a flash with four LEDs on the back and 5G support with cellular models. In the early evening, Macotakara announced that Apple has started full-scale production for both devices.

Other rumors have suggested that Apple might also launch an iPad 10. Bloomberg doesn’t mention that here. However, the site warns that a new Mac should be unveiled (probably a Mac mini with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips) and the presentation could take place during the keynote, or at least in March.

The March 8 keynote should also be an opportunity to have a release date for the final version of iOS 15.4. According to Bloomberg, the availability will be done during the month of March. As a reminder, this version notably adds the possibility of using Face ID with a mask and Universal Control.
