Apple Watch Series 8 body temperature
Renowned Apple insider Mark Gurman reports this Bloomberg† “The company plans to add a body temperature sensor to the watch as early as this year,” he writes. The function would initially be intended to help women find out their fertile days. Around ovulation, the body temperature rises by about 0.3 degrees.
Only in later versions will Apple expand the function and allow the Watch to determine if a user has an unusually high body temperature. However, the Apple Watch is unlikely to show an explicit measurement, Gurman believes. The Apple Watch may therefore tell you that you have an increase, but it will not show a temperature.

Furthermore, Apple would like to expand its ECG app. The Apple Watch could soon calculate how often a person is in a state of atrial fibrillation (also known as atrial fibrillation) during a certain period of time. The feature may appear in watchOS 9. This software will be unveiled at WWDC in June and will be available to install around mid-September.
The iPhone is also getting new health functions, Gurman knows. For example, there will be a drug management function. Users can scan their medicines in the app and the software will remind users to take their medicines. “But the first version of the feature probably won’t include all of the planned functionality,” Gurman says, balking.
Deferred Features
There have been rumors for a long time that the Apple Watch will also get sensors for measuring blood pressure or blood sugar, but we will not see those again with the Apple Watch Series 8. According to Gurman, the blood pressure sensor will not be available until 2024 at the earliest. sensor for monitoring blood sugar is still several years away. Apple has not yet determined a target year for a release.
According to previous rumors, Apple has no fewer than three Apple Watch models in store for this year. In addition to the Apple Watch Series 8, there will be a more budget-friendly Apple Watch SE and a luxury model with a robust housing, which is aimed at practitioners of extreme sports.
