Apple Watch Series 7 gets new watch faces for a larger screen
The Apple Watch Series 7 will mainly focus on a new design and will have a larger screen than its predecessor. This will add several new watch faces.

That reports the reliable insider Mark Gurman in his weekly newsletter Power On. Unlike its predecessor, the Apple Watch Series 7 does not get new sensors to track your health, but focuses on a new design. Gurman talks about a ‘flatter’ design and a bigger screen. For this, according to the Bloomberg-journalist made new watch faces available.
It is unclear which watchfaces will be added exactly, but it would in any case be a new version of the ‘Infograph Modular’ watch face. It uses the larger screen of the new Apple Watch. Gurman reports that the Series 7 will come in two versions: one with a case size of 41 millimeters and one of 45 millimeters. In comparison, the current Series 6 is available in 40 and 44 millimeters.
With the new watch faces, Apple wants to get the most out of the larger Watch screen, but little is known about further improvements. In any case, it is the second time that Tim Cook’s company has given the smartwatch a larger display. With the Watch Series 4, which appeared in 2018, the screen was also adjusted.

We don’t have to wait long for the Watch Series 7. Apple is rumored to announce the new watch along with the iPhone 13 at an event in September. The event is expected to take place on September 14, after which the Series 7 (and all other new Apple products) will go on sale a few days later.
As mentioned, the design is the biggest improvement of the Apple Watch Series 7. Apple opts for a new, industrial design with a flatter screen and upright edges. We know this design from the iPhone 12, but also from the latest iMac. This makes the Apple smartwatch look completely fresh again. In addition, it makes sense that the watch runs on the new watchOS 8, which adds all kinds of features and improvements.
