Apple Watch Series 7 (and soon Series 8) would already come out of factories located in Vietnam

The information fell at the beginning of the week: Apple planned a relocation to Vietnam of part of the production of MacBook and Apple Watch. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo confirms this information today and goes even further: Luxshare ICT would already have production lines in Vietnam, and more incredible still, Apple Watch Series 7 would even come out of these factories for some time ( the analyst does not specify the exact duration)! In other words, Apple would have passed the relocation phase to move on to the next stage, which is to increase the volume of products coming out of Vietnamese factories.

Kuo estimates that the volumes of Apple Watch Series 8 produced in Vietnam will be higher than the volumes of Apple Watch Series 7 produced in the same country. Luxshare would thus increase by 70% the number of Apple Watch assembled in Vietnam. As a reminder, the Apple Watch Series 8 as well as the new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro ranges could be unveiled during a keynote organized on September 7.
