iPhone 15 Pro will be even more expensive
According to the news site Bloomberg, Apple plans to make the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max more expensive. That would be the second time in a row for the Dutch that we have to deal with a significant price increase.
According to the article, it is striking that Apple does this. The demand for smartphones is expected to decline this year. But Apple just raises the prices of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max to make more profit.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumors of a possible price hike for iPhones. Earlier this year there were reports that the prices of the iPhone 15 and iPhone Plus are going up. The usually reliable Jeff Pu also said in March that we can expect the iPhone 15 (Plus) and the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) to become more expensive.
iPhone 15 Pro: We expect these prices
The iPhone 13 Pro had a suggested retail price of 1159 euros. The suggested retail price of the iPhone 14 Pro was 1329 euros. That is a difference of 170 euros. If we extend that to the expected price of the iPhone 15 Pro, it will go 1499 euros cost.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max will then become even more expensive. The suggested retail price of the iPhone 13 Pro Max was 1259 euros. The iPhone 14 Pro Max added 220 euros, resulting in a suggested retail price of 1479 euros. If we continue to count, the suggested retail price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be 1699 euros.
These are significant price increases and it will be the second price increase in a row for us. We secretly hope that Apple will therefore not implement the price increase in Europe this time. But we won’t know for sure until September…
