Apple TV + signs deal with Sam Catlin, executive producer of Breaking Bad and Preacher showrunner

It is undoubtedly a very nice catch: if we are to believe the always well-informed Deadline, Apple TV + just signed a deal with Sam catlin, who is none other than the executive producer of the cult series breaking Bad and the showrunner from the no less cult series Preacher. Under the terms of the deal, Sam Catlin will write several series scripts for Apple TV + through his production company Short Drive Enertainment.

Given the undeniable quality of Catlin’s creations (we also owe him the too little-known Kidnapped series produced by NBC), this deal further strengthens the dream team Apple TV + after the arrival of Misha Green (Lovecraft Country), Sian Heder (CODA), Annie Weisman (Physical) or even Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip). Let’s not forget also the contract with Scorsese, who is currently finalizing for the service the very ambitious Killers of the Flower Moon with DiCaprio in the spotlight.
