Apple TV+ adds Up Next from the web to resume playback
The Web version of Apple TV+ improves this week with the addition of a “To be continued” section. It is already available on other media and is intended to be practical.
Arrival of the “To be continued on Apple TV+” section from the Web
“To be continued on Apple TV+” lists the different episodes of series or films that you have started to watch without finishing them. You can then select them in the carousel to resume reading where you left off.
The streaming service’s app has already added this section with iOS 15.4, which was recently released. Previously, you had to go to the Originals tab, which is not necessarily ideal. With the new section, everything is displayed on the home page, on the upper part moreover. Hard to miss it.
The web version of Apple TV+ is especially interesting for users with a Windows PC or people with an Android smartphone or tablet. Indeed, Apple does not offer a dedicated application on these devices, forcing users to go through the web version. Unfortunately, this version lacks many features available on the app, such as browsing by category or tab, or simply a search bar.
It is now to be hoped that Apple will improve its site. After all, it concerns people given the number of users on Windows or Android. In fact, live sport will make its appearance in a few countries with baseball on April 8. The app already has a Sports tab in some countries, but the web version does not. Can we hope for it soon?
