‘First Apple event of 2022 on March 8’

According to the generally well-informed Bloomberg we will see new products from Apple very soon. The first Apple event of 2022 would take place on or about March 8. Due to the corona pandemic, it is again a virtual presentation.

Apple will in any case launch the iPhone SE 2022 that day. The new budget model looks like two drops of water on its predecessor, but gets a faster A15 chip with 5G. This is probably the last iPhone with the now antique design. Apple may release a larger iPhone SE in 2023.

In addition, Apple will present the iPad Air 2022 during the event in March. That also seems to be a relatively small upgrade compared to the iPad Air 2020. The midrange tablet will also receive a faster A15 chip and a Center Stage camera. It follows your movements, so you always get a good picture. This actually makes the new iPad Air a larger version of the iPad mini 2021.

Bloomberg also thinks Apple will unveil a new Mac. It is not yet clear which one exactly. It can be the iMac Pro 2022, but also a faster Mac mini or a new MacBook Air.

Also release of iOS 15.4 in March

The focus will be on new hardware during the Apple event in March. However, the company would also like to release iOS 15.4 in the first half of that month. The new software update includes several cool features. You will soon be able to use Face ID while wearing a face mask. With Universal Control it is possible to control your iPad with the keyboard and mouse of your Mac.
