Apple sued over display of Safari multitasking and tabs
The lawsuit claims that SpaceTime3D released its patent application in 2007, releasing a public beta version of its own browser that used the technology and was featured in outlets including The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and The Economist. Apple allegedly discovered this technology through these articles and SpaceTime3D founder Ezra Bakhash, who allegedly showed it to an unnamed Apple executive, who then allegedly told Ezra Bakhash that he had passed on the information to various groups within Apple.
Also according to the complaint, another Apple executive also allegedly said he was “blown away” by SpaceTime3D technology and that the platform represented a “considerable time saver”. This Apple executive reportedly told Ezra Bakhash to keep him posted and that he was going “definitely spread the word”.
A question may arise: why did SpaceTime3D wait so long before filing a complaint? In the meantime, the company is calling for a trial to find Apple guilty. She is also asking for damages.
