Apple Releases 2023 Environmental Progress Report
Apple has released its 2023 report which highlights all the efforts made for everything related to the environment. This is a report published once a year.

Through an interactive infographic, Apple explains how its environmental plan came to fruition in 2022:
- Recovery
- More than 40,000 tonnes of electronic waste was recycled in 2022.
- Materials
- 20% of all materials shipped in products last year came from recycled sources.
- Manufacturing
- More than 250 suppliers, representing more than 85% of Apple’s direct manufacturing spend, have committed to using 100% renewable electricity for Apple’s production.
- Dispatch
- 80% reduction in emissions from shipping HomePod (2nd Gen) with our new shipping plan.
- Use of products
- Reduction of more than 70% of the average energy consumption of products since 2008.
