Apple puts refurbished MacBook M1 Pro and Max on sale
Apple has started selling refurbished 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros that have the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. As a reminder, these models debuted last fall.
Refurbished MacBook M1 Pro and Max are here
Currently refurbished MacBook Pro M1 Pro and M1 Max are available on the Apple Store in the United States. There are seven models with the M1 Pro chip and two models with the M1 Max chip. Of course, the stock will vary over the days and weeks.
The refurbished 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro chip is available for $1,799, compared to $1,999 for the new model. This represents a 10% discount. If we take the 16-inch model with the same chip, the price is $2,249, compared to $2,699 for the new model. Again, the discount is 10%.
As for the MacBook Pro with the M1 Max chip, Apple only offers the 16-inch model (for now at least). Pricing is $3,149 for the refurbished model, compared to $3,499 for the new model. Again, the discount applied here is 10%.
All Apple Refurbished Macs come with the same warranty as new products, plus all manuals and accessories. Every Apple Refurbished device goes through a rigorous process of testing, repairing, reconditioning, and cleaning, with Apple supplying new outer shells and batteries.
